| Having started his carrier outside the U.S., DJ Monkee Bizz (Ricardo) gained experience on entertaining massive crowds, working with endless energy needed to maintain the crowd till late morning hours..event after event, and receiving high recognition of his work throughout the community and peers.
At the age of 13 he began as a helper of a local mobil dj, managing the equipment and operating the light visuals. Soon after, dedication paid off and the opportunity came to start mixing at small events, leading him to be one of the area's own top djs. Music emphasis: raggae, techno, house, latin beats. DJ Monkee Bizz moved to the U.S as a 16 yr. old pursuing his dream of music and entertainment on a larger scale. Latin Power was created- the mobil DJ for all events, including school events and fundraisers. Latin Power covered the Bay Area from San Francisco to Stockton. Music emphasis: client's needs- all types of music. After 5 years of Latin Power, and facing limited recognition and restrictions to grow as he had prior to moving to California, the moment came to stop and reevaluate. Ricardo took a couple years to focus on college- emphasis on Art Painting. With new influences, new knowledge on the music community DJ Monkee Bizz was ready for a comeback with a focus on the club scene. In 2007 he joined Latino Sound Record Pool, whose members range from various forms of DJs, promoters, and producers from the Bay Area. 2009 brought the opportunity of working with Kidd Linus- DJ/Producer (Boogie Beat Records). Together they hosted weekly event PLAYGROUND SESSIONS inside EASY 925 Lounge in Danville, CA (2009). Music emphasis: electro/hiphop/club hits. Next endeavor entails bringing DJ MONKEE BIZZ and KIDD LINUS's flair, hype, and dedication to the San Francisco night scene.
