Wali was born in Chi-Town, raised in the ATL, and is now based in Austin by way of Houston, Texas. This entrepreneurial minded single parent with two sons is a full-time technology salesperson, with time to coach a community based flag-football team. Along with keeping his massive collection of “tunes” he’s the founder and CEO of The Futuristic DJs, a consortium of talented DJs and those aspiring artists and talents. A natural performer that began dancing and performing at age 8, DJ Wallo took his technical training in electronics and multi-media to a new height at age 21. While speaking regularly on KRBE (Houston, TX) as a spokesperson for a local auto dealership, Wallo took his verbal act on the road and D’Jayed a couple small clubs before bring invited to DJ at clubs like The Cotton Exchange and the TOC Bar in Houston. After moving to Austin, the word got around quickly and he played Submerge, Canvas, HI-LO, the Light Bar, DejaVu, and others. His unique use of high-tech software enhances his massive stock of albums that cover a multitude of musical genres – from “dusty oldies” to “tear-jerking” classics. This dynamic, dancing DJ is all you can ask for as a paid performer at your public or private function. This enterprising young professional comes from a family of artist and performers.
