| DJ BC was born and raised in Chicago, IL. As a child he was constantly surrounded by musical influences. Both his parents developed a knack for singing gospel music. He had an Aunt that was musically gifted as well. She taught members of his family, how to play the piano and/or keyboard without ever taking a lesson her self.
BC never really was one for singing or playing the piano while he was growing up. But, through his child hood developed a deep routed love for music. The Chicago land area exposed him to many genres of music. In the “90’s” he was surrounded by “Steppers Clubs”, and “Juke Music”. Prodigies of Chicago during his childhood included R. Kelly, Da Brat, and Carl Thomas just to name a few. After High School, BC attended the University Of Nevada At Las Vegas. He was part of the running rebel football team, and majored in Architecture. It was then when he was introduced to the facets of DeeJaying. BC first learned to mix house music on two Technic 1200’s. He was taught the basic elements of beat mixing. At this point BC knew this was something he could not live without. He wanted to use his new found knowledge to entertain people for years to come. While at UNLV, BC could be seen spinning at Fraternity/Sorority Parties, Socials, and Campus Events. In 2001, he was introduced to the owner of a Mobile DJ company in Las Vegas. He quickly attained a steady DJ position with the company. It was with this opportunity that he was really able to use all of his talents that he possessed. He gained experience in a wide range of events and parties such as elegant weddings, anniversaries, karaoke shows, Clark County School District functions, Bars, Night Clubs, and many others. Over the years BC has made Rock, 80’s, Country, R&B, Disco, Hip-Hop, Dance, and Mash Ups his niche of genres. Effortless versatility is a trait that is illustrated in every performance. In 2009, DJ BC started the Spin Doctor Entertainment Corporation. He plans to continue his successful journey through nightlife and entertainment and become a reckoning force in music production. DJ BC is passionate about the limitless excitement and possibility available in the DJ world. He takes pride in his ability to read any crowd and play exactly what they want to hear. He strives to transform opportunity into energy, mixing it up and creating movement and motion through musical motivation. DJ BC is far from the “Average DJ”, and having him at your event will create a truly entertaining atmosphere for your guest that they will never forget. |
